Kerala participated in the Annual Investment Meeting, Abu Dhabi

Kerala participated in the Annual Investment Meeting from May 8 to 10 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, UAE, with participants from 170 countries gathering for this premier global investment platform. The Government of Kerala is a gold sponsor at the event. The event is supported by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development.The Annual Investment Meeting will take place for the first time in the capital city of Abu Dhabi under the theme "The Investment Paradigm Shift: Future Investment Opportunities to Foster Sustainable Economic Growth, Diversity, and Prosperity."
At the meeting, Kerala mainly focused on agro, green energy, tourism, manufacturing, research and development, and innovation. The meeting, which was attended by senior officials and industry leaders from Kerala, raised the possibility of investments in Kerala from various Arab countries.
AIM Global 2023 addressed new trends in the current global digital transformation experienced by developing and developed economies. It included sessions and workshops discussing vital topics such as future cities, the business sector’s ability to keep abreast of fast changes, and the importance of innovation in achieving growth against strong competitive backgrounds. Decision-makers, investors, experts, and academic figures from all over the world attended the Annual Investment Meeting, discussing the shift in the global investment landscape in a global environment characterised by geopolitical and economic challenges and its impact on the attraction of foreign direct investments.
