The Government of Kerala made a strong impression at the recent WAIPA World Investment Conference held in New Delhi from December 11–14, 2023. The 27th World Investment Conference was organized under the leadership of the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Invest India, the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency, and the current President of the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA). Themed "Empowering Investors: IPAs Pioneering Future Growth," the conference brought together global investment promotion agencies, businesses, and investors to explore opportunities and forge partnerships.
Kerala, represented by a high-level delegation led by Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation (KSIDC), actively engaged in the conference, emphasizing the state's diverse investment landscape and unwavering commitment to attracting global investment. The delegation effectively highlighted Kerala's strengths in key sectors. KSIDC Managing Director, S. Harikishore IAS, made a presentation on the possibilities in various sectors in Kerala.
