The exhibition at the two-day Generative AI Conclave in Kochi, organized by KSIDC in association with IBM, showcased how AI was set to transform our daily lives in the near future. The event covered a wide range of applications, from goods movement and recruitment to sports and hospitality.
Inaugurated by P. Rajeev, the Minister for Industry, Law, and Coir, the conclave's exhibition featured a unique AI-driven table tennis setup right at the entrance. Powered by IBM's WatsonX platform, this table tennis setup used AI to track and analyze hundreds of parameters, including player speed, ball trajectory, points, angles, and accuracy. This technology highlighted the advanced AI tools being used in sports analytics at the time.
