Efficient logistics is regarded as one of the main factors influencing competitiveness, policy effectiveness, infrastructure development and other investments at macroeconomic level, for a state. Logistics Ease Across Different States (LEADS) was conceptualized with the common vision for a well-integrated logistics network in India by the Logistics Division under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry (MoCI).
KSIDC is the nodal agency for LEADS exercise in the State and coordinates with departments/ agencies and other stakeholders concerned, such as industry associates, export organizations, etc. to improve the LEADS Rank. The State has formulated a Logistics Action Plan having focus on logistics infrastructure development, digitization of logistics operations, institutional development, and policy measures.
