Inclusiveness has been the corner stone of Kerala’s development agenda. Over the years, efforts in this direction have been accelerated by the governments through measures like improving educational standards, women empowerment and health care facilities that permeates into the grassroot level. This is evident from the Social & Human Development indicators of the State which are at par even with certain developed countries. No wonder why Kerala has consistently been the top ranked State in the Sustainable Development Goals set by the World Bank Group and reflected in the NITI Aayog’s SDG Index.
