‘Make in Kerala’ initiative of Government of Kerala will promote growth and development of micro, small, and medium industries in the State, announced by Shri. KM. Mani during the budget 2015. ‘Make in Kerala’ project will cover electronic systems and machinery, light engineering, rubber products, food processing, spices, handloom, textile, Ayurveda, promotion of Kerala brands, technological upgrade, conducting of entrepreneurs’ meets, and promotion of women’s entrepreneurial initiatives. A sum of Rs.15 crore has been set apart for the purpose.
