Kerala Explores Future of Tourism & Hospitality at Key Sectoral Meeting

On November 19, 2024, Kerala hosted a pivotal Sectoral Meeting on "Tourism & Hospitality" at Ernakulam, bringing together leaders from both sectors to shape the future of the state's booming tourism industry.
The meeting focused on establishing Kerala as a global tourism hub, with a special emphasis on sustainable tourism, infrastructure development, and enhancing visitor experiences. New strategies were discussed to diversify tourism offerings, including eco-tourism, wellness tourism, and cultural tourism.
The Hon'ble Ministers for Industries and Tourism shared the state’s vision for strengthening Kerala’s tourism ecosystem, attracting investment into the hospitality sector, improving connectivity, and fostering a business-friendly environment for future projects.
This session also laid the groundwork for focusing on inclusive growth and sustainability in tourism.
